Receiver-Hitch Snow Plows in Littleton, CO

Not everyone needs a full hydraulic plow rig. If you want to clear your own driveway without dedicating a truck to plowing all winter, a receiver-hitch plow is the answer. It slides into your 2-inch receiver, you plow, and you pull it out when you're done. Your truck stays your truck.

What we sell and install

We carry two receiver-hitch plow systems:

  • SnowSport HD- a blade plow that mounts to your front 2-inch receiver. No hydraulics, no wiring, no winch. The blade trips forward when it hits an obstacle and snaps back, so you're not replacing shear pins in the cold. Available in 7-foot blade for full-size trucks and SUVs.
  • K2 electric winch plow- a blade plow raised and lowered by an electric winch. Mounts to your front 2-inch receiver. The winch gives you powered lift without a hydraulic pump, which keeps the cost and complexity down. Good for driveways and small lots.

Both systems work with any vehicle that has a front 2-inch receiver hitch. If you don't have one, we install those too.

Who these are for

Receiver-hitch plows are for homeowners clearing their own driveway, not for commercial plowing routes. If you're doing 2-3 driveways after a storm, this is your setup. If you're plowing parking lots all night, you need a full hydraulic system, and that's not what we do.

What you need

  • A vehicle with a front 2-inch receiver hitch (we install these if you don't have one)
  • For the K2: a 12V power connection for the winch (we wire this during installation)
  • For the SnowSport: nothing else. No wiring, no hydraulics.

What professional installation gets you

  • Front receiver hitch installed and torqued to spec (if needed)
  • Plow mount fitted and adjusted for your vehicle's ride height
  • Winch wired with proper gauge cable and circuit protection (K2 only)
  • Blade angle and trip mechanism tested before you leave
  • Walkthrough of mounting, dismounting, and storing the plow

When to buy

Don't wait for the first blizzard. We stock plows starting in the fall, but they sell out. If you want one installed before the snow flies, call in October or early November. Installation takes about half a day including the front receiver if you need one.
